What a credit buys
A pin with an image, a title and a description is 1 credit — the three lines below, added up. Alt text and the three-angle rotation cost more, and the wizard shows the exact total before you generate anything.

Questions worth asking first
- Does it publish without me seeing the pins first?
- No. Generating creates the pins and puts them on a schedule; publishing only happens at each scheduled time, and you can edit, move or delete any of them before then. A pin that is live on Pinterest is the only one you cannot change.
- What happens if a pin fails?
- Its credits come back automatically, split back into the same buckets they were taken from. A publish that failed can be retried for nothing, since the image already exists — only re-running the generation costs anything.
- Will it pin things I have not published yet?
- No. Drafts, out-of-stock listings, archived products and pages marked noindex are filtered out before anything is charged, and the wizard tells you how many were hidden and why.
- How do the credits work?
- Every plan includes a monthly allowance, and you can buy top-up packs on top. Top-ups never expire and are always spent first, so a quiet month cannot waste them. You see the exact cost of a batch before you confirm it.
- Will Pinterest think this is spam?
- That is what the rotation option is for: three different layouts and three different angles per page, staggered across days, rather than the same pin posted repeatedly. Your pace is your choice, and a slower one is usually the better one.
- Do I need my own Pinterest account?
- Yes — BatchPin publishes through your account, not a shared one, so the pins, the boards and the traffic are all yours. You connect it once and can disconnect whenever you like.
- What if I cancel?
- Pins already published stay on Pinterest; they belong to your account. Scheduled pins simply stop going out.
A pin costs credits when it is created, not when it is published, and a failed pin is refunded automatically. You can see every charge and every refund in your credit history.
